Paragon Paths -- Warrior Poet
War is an art. I am simply expanding my horizons.

Prerequisite: Loreman

A warrior poet is one who understands that balance in all things is of the utmost importance. While they are skilled in taking lives and destruction, so are they too experts in uplifting others and creating works of art. This mindset and behavior makes them frequent subjects of admiration and imitation.

Warrior Poet Path Features

Serene Countenance (11th level): You face adversity and temptation with a calm demeanor and council your allies on doing the same. You and allies within 5 squares of you gain a +2 bonus to saving throws against fear and charm effects.

Surrogate Action (11th level): As an immediate action, you can spend an action point on an ally’s turn to grant that ally an extra action. This counts as your ally’s expenditure of an action point for the encounter.

Chronicle the Heroic Journey (16th level): Your record of you and your allies’ exploits causes your fame to precede you. You and your allies gain a +2 bonus to Diplomacy and Streetwise checks and pay half price for inn stays and meals in towns.

Hit: The target can only make basic attacks (save ends).

You always have a brilliant koan or haiku that gives your allies a boost of inspiration.

Whenever you use the Aid Another action, roll twice and use the higher result.

Demoralizing Demonstration
Warrior Poet Attack 20
You strike down your foe in an offhand, humiliating manner. His allies are stunned into incompetence and your allies are spurred to greater feats of heroism.

Standard Action - Melee weapon

One creature.
Intelligence vs. AC
3[W] plus Intelligence modifier damage and the target is knocked prone. Enemies within a close burst 5 of you suffer a -2 penalty to attack roll and damage rolls (save ends)
Allies within 5 squares of you gain a +4 morale bonus to damage rolls until the end of the encounter.
