Orms
are the ancient ancestors of the Dragons of Ere. In form,
they resemble dragons, but their mind set is less geared toward
the acquisition of power or wealth. Instead, Orms seek peace
and happiness wherever they can find it.
This
trait, however, does not mean orms are pacifists. Many orms
are mighty creatures, fully capable of protecting their lot.
Mousin
Orm
Mousin Orms are tiny dragons with dragonfly
wings and four whirling eyes. Their hides swirl with myriad
colors at all time. They are extremely friendly creatures
who frolic in the colossal magnagoth trees of Vini Tresolm.
A few enterprising specimens have taken up residence in towns
and cities.
Mousin
Orms are sometimes troublesome to adventurers because of their
penchant for stealing magic items and other small baubles.

COMBAT
Mousin
Orms fear combat and will shift invisible and
flee at the first sign of trouble
Perfect
Camouflage (Ex): The skin of a Mousin
Orm is extremely sensitive to light and color
and can shift to blend into any environment. They
can become invisible at will. This ability is
non-magical and not subject to invisibility
purge.
See
Invisibility (Su): Mousin Orms see invisible
constantly as the spell. |

Sitan Orm
Sitan
Orms are the largest of all dragon species on Ere, but are
not related to the True Dragons in the Dragon Nations. The
average Sitan Orm is three hundred feet long, with snakelike
bodies and four thin legs that fold close to the body in flight.
Four tattered wings extend from the body, above the legs.
The head is rounded with a turtle like beak and six black
eyes.
They
live mostly in remote parts of the world, in the Ashed Lands,
the glaciers or at the bottom of the ocean with their life
long mates.

COMBAT
Sitan
Orms prefer to avoid combat, but when their mates
or eggs are endangered, they attack with great
fury, shutting down the enemy's magic items with
their Mystic Harmonic, then blasting them with
their fiery breath weapon.
Blindsense
(Ex): Sitan orms can pinpoint creatures
within a distance of 60 feet. Opponents the orm
can’t actually see still have total concealment
against the orm.
Keen
Senses (Ex): An orm sees four times as
well as a human in shadowy illumination and twice
as well in normal light. It also has darkvision
out to 120 feet.
Breath
Weapon (Su): Once every 1d4 rounds, the
Sitan Orm can unleash a blast of organic fire
that burns even in water or in void. Creatures
failing a DC 27 Reflex save take 22d4 fire damage
and an additional 4d4 damage the next round as
the fire continues to burn.
Mystic
Harmonics (su): Three times each day,
a Sitan Orm can generate a subsonic rumbling that
disrupts magical power. All creatures including
the Sitan Orm must make a Fort Save DC 27 or have
all of their magic items rendered useless for
1d4+2 rounds. Creatures inside an anti magic field
are not effected by this ability.
Environmental
Survival (Su): Sitan Orms are immune
to all environmental effects present in the environment
they are encountered in. For example, a Sitan
Orm found on the ocean floor is immune to pressure
and drowning while a Sitan Orm found in the heart
of a glacier is immune to cold damage.
Spells:
A Sitan Orm casts spells as an 15th level inborn
caster, gaining extra spell points for a high
Charisma.
Skills
Sitan orms have skill points equal to (6 + Int
modifier, minimum 1) × (Hit Dice + 3). Most
orms purchase the following skills at the maximum
ranks possible: Listen, Search, and Spot. The
remaining skill points are generally spent on
Concentration, Diplomacy, Escape Artist, Intimidate,
Knowledge (any), Sense Motive, and Use Magic Device
at a cost of 1 skill point per rank. All these
skills are considered class skills for orms.
Feats
Sitan Orms have one feat, plus additional feats
based on Hit Dice just like any other creature.
Sitan Orms favor Alertness, Blind-Fight, Cleave,
Flyby Attack, Hover, Improved Initiative, Improved
Sunder, Power Attack, Snatch, Weapon Focus (claw
or bite), and Wingover. |
