COMBAT
Dos Demane are adept at both straight forward
combat as well as ambush tactics. They will follow
those they are sent to kill hundreds of miles,
waiting for the perfect time to strike, taking
advantage of their incredible speed and toughness.
Impulse
(Su): Dos Demane are imbued with incredible
speed, perception and reflexes. They are constantly
under the effect of a haste spell (CL
Wizard 8). The effects of this ability are already
noted in the creature’s entry.
Light
Sensitivity (Ex): Dos Demane are dazzled
in bright sunlight or within the radius of a daylight
spell.
Persistence
(Su): Unlike other undead, a Dos Demane
is not destroyed completely destroyed when it
reaches 0hp. It reforms at the spot it was brought
to 0hp in 1d4 days unless it was slain with an
undead bane weapon. If a character who was transformed
into a dos demane is raised or resurrected before
this time, the dos demane does not reform.
Soulshard
(Su): The process of creating a dos demane
also creates a minor artifact known as a soulshard.
A creature possessing a soulshard gains the ability
to command the dos demane it was created with
as if with a dominate monster (though undead,
dos demane are not immune to this effect and get
no save against it). |
